Excess inspiration–there is such a thing, if I allow myself to get overwhelmed despite there being no reason to get overwhelmed. Ideas are everywhere and they come from all directions.
But physically, I cannot write all stories all at once. This used to frustrate me a lot, until recently, I thought about whether I want to write all stories all at once, at all. And the answer was definitely “No!” I do not want to write all stories all at once; I want to write one story at a time and experience them.
It’s so amazing that it took me more than a decade to ask myself if I want to be everywhere everywhen all at once. I mean, in awareness, the greater awareness, sure, I am all that is; but the whole point that the human mind *can* be everywhere (you can be in your room and also at work) and *can* be everywhen (you can be three years old, thirty years old, three hundred years old) *but* the body appears to be in a specific time and place is that *experience* requires limitations. As in, chocolate ice cream would not be delicious if it overlaps with vanilla *and* it’s physically *there* all the time. It would be nightmare.
So yeah, I should really let that sink in. I do *not* want to write all stories all at once.
Also, I do not need to worry about inspiration being “forgotten.” Based on practical experience, I know that whatever is needed in the moment *is not forgotten.* It’s IMPOSSIBLE to be forgotten.
So, again. This goes back to the “paying attention to myself” idea from a few days ago. (Might have been yesterday.)
I want to write 1,000 stories before I die. To allow that to happen, maybe I’ll live to be 300 years.
