☀️ Got up at 6 am for two days in a row.

As I mentioned before, the target waking time isn’t the challenge; convincing myself that I need to wake up at a specific time, at all, is the challenge. (Because I don’t commute anymore.)

It seems that the tactic of telling myself that I lose A LOT of things if I don’t get up at 6 am is helping. I mean, I always knew that I am more productive when I wake up at 6 am compared to 8 am, but I guess that wasn’t enough. Telling myself that I WILL LOSE A LOT helped more. 😂 I didn’t even have to “actually believe” that I was going to lose something. (I really do not believe it, even now, after the two days of success. I mean, like, come on. Realistically, it doesn’t matter what time of the day I wake up.) I just kept telling myself “Oh, it’s very bad if I don’t wake up at 6 am.” Plus what I’ve been thinking for a long time anyway: “It’s very good if I do wake up at 6 am.”

Now I just have to reliably define myself as someone who wakes up at 6 am. Then I will be able to wake up without an alarm clock. I’ll just be someone who wakes up, checks the time, and sees 6:00.
