Calling California “California” is convenient. But using it to mean CaLiFoRnIA, wink, wink, is too much. I’m fine with Californians. I’m a Californian. But if someone considers themselves a CaLiFoRnIAn and they wonder why I don’t “get it” when I’m also a CaLiFoRnIAn? No, just no.
I think keeping this blog random and cryptic will help repel the CaLiFoRnIAns, wink, wink, when it comes to reading/books/storytelling. And thereby, my fellow Californians will be free to be Californians without needing to indulge the CaLiFoRnIAns with their labels.
