An example of ugliness: a venture-funded corporation screwing things up on a daily basis and whining about “being small” without, maybe, for once, considering that they just suck at what they do.
Now, it might very well be that presently, they have a small monopoly in their corner of the world. When I say “elimination,” I don’t mean going out there and trying to make them go bankrupt by destroying that little monopoly. Although that’s a possibility, for sure, that would be way too time consuming, and just mentalr-room-consuming, in general.
So, rather, what I mean is not giving them my awareness more than absolutely necessary. These days, there’s this well-known phrase: “living rent free in one’s head.” Basically, what I’m doing when eliminating ugly things is that I stop giving them rent free space in my awareness. Like, if you want this bright, brilliant, shiny light of existence shined upon you, you’d better be not ugly as fuck. It’s so damn stressful beholding imperfect things. This, I say, despite being of the opinion that there is beauty in some types of imperfection, which ironically makes such imperfect things perfect.
Some imperfect things are just plain outright ugly. Their only redeeming quality is that upon their elimination, they generate satisfaction. As in, only their death and destruction will give me great joy, which is wonderful, which is why I would rather experience that joy than continue to experience the stupidity that is their existence.
Now that I want more time, I have higher stakes. I think this will really inspire me to literally render ugly things irrelevant. They have no worth whatsoever.
