More thoughts on heists.
It seems that I’m not that interested in the “how.” The “how” is very interesting, but more interesting is that (in my mind) a heist criminal is unlike criminals who use brute violence. As in, one cannot be involved in a heist if one is a total idiot. It also seems that heists require a lot of patience. Sometimes I read/watch things about a heist where the team prepared for the deed for years. In a world where normal people spend four years and hundreds of thousands of dollars on a college degree, there are less normal people who would rather spend the same number of years dreaming about making millions through one heist.
Meanwhile, I can also imagine a criminal involved in a heist being cowardly/avoidant. They might not think they’re committing a crime at all. Also, they might refuse to hurt people and animals directly. They might hate blood. They might love art. They might consider heists their art and calling.
